Sky Railway

Get ready for an Adventure of a Lifetime! Climb aboard and expect the unexpected as you travel the 18-mile historic rail between Santa Fe and Lamy NM. Entertainers, music, great food, and drink await you on Sky Railway.

Fun for kids of all ages, Sky Railway has the perfect escapade for individuals, families, groups, and parties. Some adventures depart from Santa Fe, and some from Lamy station. Be sure to check the FAQs on their website, for details on what to wear, where to park, and other info.

Two themed diesel engines, one Wolf and one Dragon depart from the Santa Fe Depot at 430 West Manhattan Ave, Santa Fe, or the Lamy Station (152 Old Lamy Trail, Lamy NM). There will be a variety of adventures to choose from, as co-owner George RR Martin wrote, "We will have jazz trains, country music trains, cocktail trains (we will offer our own unique cocktails), costume trains, circus trains….   There may be pirates.  There may be gunslingers.   There may be… most anything."

During the festive seasons there are themed kids adventures too, such as Pablo's Magical Holiday featuring a visit from Santa, cocoa and cookies, and a visit to a wondrous Elf Village.

There are plans for History Rides for train enthusiasts, Ale Rides, Chef's Table Experiences, Murder on the Lamy Line, Star Gazing & more.

Adventures vary in duration between 1.5 hours up to 4 hours depending on the outing.
