Bus Service
The Blue Bus provides fare free public transportation services throughout North Central New Mexico. Operated by the North Central Regional Transit District, the Blue Bus services over 10,000 square miles of North Central New Mexico including the counties of Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Rio Arriba, and Taos, the Eight Northern Pueblos and the Jicarilla Apache Nation.
Blue Bus Routes to Consider
• Access the mountains closest to the city of Santa Fe via the 255 Mountain Trail Route Monday through Sunday, excluding holidays. This route is popular for outdoor recreation enthusiasts who enjoy seasonal activities such as hiking, mountain biking and skiing.
• Take a trip to one of the Eight Northern Pueblos via the 200 Santa Fe, where you can connect to the 500 Tribal Combined.
• Visit Taos for a quick day trip or long weekend on our 305 Taos Express or the 300 Taos to 200 Santa Fe route with no bus transfer. Get around town using the 340 Chile Line Red and access Taos Ski Valley during winter months via the 341 TSV Green.
• Enjoy a trip further into Northern New Mexico on 190 Chama, where you can access scenic areas such as Ghost Ranch, Abiquiu and Chama. This route includes access to the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, a National Historic Landmark.
