Museum of International Folk Art

museum· art

Since opening in September 1953, the Museum of International Folk Art has gained national and international recognition as an accredited Museum that is home to the world’s largest collections and exhibits of folk art. Four wings are filled with fascinating exhibits. Its home, Museum Hill, is where the world's largest International Folk Art Market is held every July (see our Annual Events category for more on the Market).

The collection of more than 135,000 artifacts forms the basis for exhibitions in four distinct wings: Bartlett, Girard, Hispanic Heritage, and Neutrogena.

Our Long-term Exhibition, A Common Bond, shows in the Girard Wing. Since the opening in 1982, more than a million visitors have been delighted by the richly varied displays of toys, and traditional folk art from more than 100 countries.

Please check our website for more exhibits and information.
