Georgia O'Keeffe Museum

museum· art

Check website for HOURS changes: The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum is home to many O'Keeffe works from their permanent collection, as well as many compelling rotating exhibitions. Come and enjoy the wonder of the largest and foremost collection of O’Keeffe’s art in any museum.

WELCOME TO O’KEEFFE COUNTRY

One of the most significant artists of the 20th century, Georgia O’Keeffe (1887-1986) was devoted to creating imagery that expressed what she called "the wideness and wonder of the world as I live in it."  Discover through visiting exhibitions how O’Keeffe and other artists of distinction have influenced the development of art as we know it today — in the context of American Modernism.

Our permanent exhibits include O'Keeffe's iconic studies of landscapes, abstractions, still lifes, architecture and many more.

Read my blog post about the spring 2013 Annie Leibovitz exhibit.

Why We Love It

No artist captured the spirit of New Mexico like O'Keeffe. Standing in front of her sky and desert paintings in the city that inspired them is something you can only do here.

Insider Tip
