Santa Fe Pro Musica presents their 45th season for 2026–27. Under the artistic direction of Colin Jacobsen, Pro Musica has entered an era of visionary programming for orchestra, string quartet, and Baroque concerts. With new guest artists and familiar favorites, standards of the classical repertoire and modern works, Pro Musica offers concertgoers a variety of superb and distinctive concert experiences.
Concerts performed at the Lensic Performing Arts Center, St. Francis Auditorium in the New Mexico Museum of Art, and First Presbyterian Church
Guest artists for the 2026-27 season include Béla Fleck, Benjamin Hochman, Dan Tepfer, Douglas Williams, Toby Appel, Eric Jacobsen, Ariadne Greif, and Tessa Lark.
Pro Musica presents five world class string quartets this season, Brooklyn Rider, Attacca Quartet with Caroline Shaw, Borromeo String Quartet, Chiaroscuro Quartet, and Brentano String Quartet.
The southwest’s premier Bach Festival takes place in December. This year features Dan Tepfer’s Inventions / Reinventions, followed by three performances of A Baroque Christmas, and a musical exploration with Bach and Beyond. And Holy Week Baroque, in 2027, features music of the Italian Baroque period, with soprano Ariadne Greif.
